Blazing Heart

Eyes closed
And heart open
I see a future
Before all I'd see is black
A void of nothingness
I didn't want to live to see what happened
You caused a fire in my heart
I can't picture tomorrow or even the next 50 years without you
You're in my every thought
With me for every plan
As my mind wanders
And heart is blazing
I bring myself back to reality
Loving you in the present
With every intention to love you in the future
And no thoughts of putting the fire out
