Silent Goodbyes
We become so good at leaving and silent goodbyes
We've become so good at quick exits
We've been taught how to replace people not how to keep them
I'm tired of it
Tired of people not sticking around, tired of people not waiting longer, tired of people taking hearts lightly, tired of people forgetting we are all human...
We've forgotten that sometimes we'll face really hard things in life that we can't face on our own. Forgotten that having strength doesn't mean not asking for help or a hand to hold. We still need love and someone to lean on when things are tough
We've forgotten that love takes time
We've forgotten that the basic thing to love is to stay
But we don't stick around anymore we move on to the next hoping we'll find someone worth staying or someone better.
There's hope of this to not be such a common thing, but wow is it tiring.

Its tiring being a teenager in this generation, where its not cool to not have snapchat or instagram or any social media, where there's silent goodbyes. its impossible to face things on our own, I havent gone through hard things by myself and neither should anyone else.
