butterflies.
when i come home, my face hurts
because i've been smiling all day.
my cheeks are red and my heart is light
after i've spent time with you.
you’re like my diary
you know everything about me.
i know you too
and we fit together like puzzle pieces.
i like to see your face light up
and i like to hear you laugh.
you make me laugh too
you're all kinds of beautiful and everything in between.
i want to buy a polaroid camera
and capture every moment we are together
because we are beautiful
and i never want it to end.
but we are getting older
and there are butterflies in my stomach
thinking that this could all be over
and i'll be laughing with someone else.
