The story of that man skilled in all ways
Fought only to save his life
Laertes’ son, Odysseus
Arrives in Ithaca after absence of twenty years

The suitors were now watching him
Odysseus in one motion strung the bow
The kingly man left fly an arrow
Odysseus’ arrow hit him under the chin

There will be killing till the score is paid
That crowd all fallen, many and many slain.
