As the clock strikes twelve,
And you disappear,
I wonder why ,
everyone was just standing there,
Not trying to help,
Not trying  to move.
As there was a girl dying,
In the middle of the room.

She looked around helplessly,
Hoping to be removed,
from the water,
That she was sinking in.
Diving down to the bottom,
But all you did was help her drown.

She was left alone to die,
Screaming loud,
And roaring cries.
But all you heard was silence.
Not a single sound in ear.

Now she is free,
From all your negativity.
Soaring around the room,
Like a bird after spring bloom.
Her wings no longer broken,
She is now able to fly.
Finally,
She is fully alive.

My piece was inspired by my personal experiences, it is mainly about a girl who is in a toxic relationship where she feels as if it is killing her on the inside.
