In The Deep
My soft blue colors
create soft waves
that crash against
the white sandy shore
I cover almost all
of earth’s surface
containing unknown,
unimaginable entities
I am home to many creatures
Little are seen by the eye
Very little of my water
has been explored by mandkind
I hold unimaginable things
I have taken many lives
but mended many souls
I have become a slave to mankind
I have given so much
yet nothing has been given in return
My ice is melting
My friends are dying
Caused by something
That’s taking everything from me
Stop polluting my water
Stop hurting my friends
Stop killing me
You are murderous
But you can change that
