my love for you was the equivalent of how pittered rain hits umbrellas
so much it could drown you
if you let it
instead
it drowned
me
my love was suffocating
me
my love for you was the equivalent of how hot water in a bathtub stings
naked skin
the way it feels when you begin to hate yourself in the same
naked skin
the way it feels when you begin to realize that loving someone
makes you hate another someone to someone else
the way it felt when i began to realize
loving you
made me
hate me
