To forgive is to love
To forget is to hate
When something comes along
We tend to accept our given fate
Anyone can hold a grudge
But forgive we must
For love is what we need
To build back the broken trust
But it is harder to forgive
Than it is to forget
What a sad thing to say
That our actions are so offset
