Bernie Sanders sits in the Oval Office.
A man in Texas smokes a joint that he paid for with his debit card.
18-year-old Puerto Ricans wear their “I voted” wristbands to school.
Anyone can walk into any hospital
Or Planned Parenthood if they need.
Everyone is employed.
Children run around and play in the streets freely
From California to New York Island.
There are no borders
Or walls
And the fear of nuclear bombs and airstrikes
Are only meant for movies.
A drag queen and a woman in a niqab sit together on the Metro
And the only thing they need to worry about
Are the rats.
