The Differences Between You and Me
The differences between you and me are very evident.
I am a severe thunderstorm, likely to cause massive damage,
While you are a light cloud, pretty and fluffy to look at.
You are always looking on the bright side,
While I try not to look at the bad side.
I was raised very differently from you.
I have missed out of many opportunities:
Late Nights, sleepovers, and seeing old friends.
You live moment by moment,
While I live week by week.
You invite yourself over to others house,
Not seeming to care.
Where I feel guilty if I as much SUGGEST that we have a sleepover,
When the person says no.
You drop by unannounced,
I plan everything out, step by step.
You see, the differences between you and me are very clear,
Such as one can notice the difference between night and day.
But I am not jealous of you.
I am content with who I am.
I enjoy planning my week and I enjoy having things planned.
See, I was raised differently, and I am okay with that.
