Peace
It’s that first Spring day after a long winter Feeling
When you head outdoors to soak up the Sun
When you lie down on a grassy knoll
To watch the Clouds billow by
When you just stop, stop thinking
And let the calm settle into your Soul
As you lay on your back with your face to the Sky
Inviting the stillness to come, stay awhile
It’s in the Song that bubbles up within you
That you can’t help but sing aloud
And in that sweet, sweet Melody
You hear the Peace that transcends all understanding
This Peace, this inexplicable Peace
Surrounding you here in your own backyard
Blowing away your troubles like the Wind through the Clouds
Will stay with you and your Smile always
