Deep Sleep
The forest is calm
The trees asleep
The leaves whispering
As the wind weeps
The dim moonlight shines on
Through the shallow creek
On the dark forest floor
There are no signs of wear
Despite all the tragedies
Committed, right there
But the forest is calm
The trees asleep
Under pounds of dirt
A permanent sleep
Nobody will find
The body, buried deep
