I see trees of red, blue roses too
I see them fall for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes, what a wonderful world we live in
A world where parents see their child's first funeral in place of their first day of school
A world where the identity of a thug is a grey hoodie
A world that closes its doors on humans and opens it to destruction
A world where you must create rallies to try to be equal
A world where the pledge is said but not heard
A world where the idea of treating girls equally to boys is questionable
I see trends of grief that are here today, but never stay
The colors of rainbow are more than the pictures in the sky
But when it graces the ground they are stomped upon
I see skies dark and cloudy, full of hate that is exhaled
I hear babies cry for the freedom that they will never grow too
And I say to myself what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself what a wonderful world

I was inspired by the beautiful song wonderful world by Louis Armstrong
