fathom
Adults can't fathom-
A child could suffer-
And oh, how a child could suffer!
Suffering-
Is adults only 18+
limited edition
Original packaging
Mint condition
A child can't fathom-
Suffering-
They may see it
But blind to the extent
A child can't fathom-
Suffering-
It may be all they know
Tricked into thinking they have it
good
Tricked into not thinking for themselves
Words echo into the backwash of a teenage mouth
Am I suffering now?
“Listen to the adults they know best”
Brings you to your knees
You’re just a kid
You don't know suffering-
You don't know suffering-
As if living on the streets
Pushed in the corner shadows of your mother's love
Torn between parents
Passive aggressive remarks turned
Belligerent-
Is not suffering.
Adults can't fathom suffering-
A child's cry-
Somehow is mistaken for need of attention
Pill remnants brought up by the lack of mind
Mom,
Dad,
Are you too prideful to admit that your kids are unhappy
That you may be causing them anguish-
Did you not suffer?
