A walk on the beach from one umbrella to another
A day in paradise as beautiful as any other
The soft white sand beneath my feet
And the bright yellow sun giving off heat
Speaks to me like a calm summer breeze

A day in paradise seems like a dream
The sight of the glistening water gleam
The rustling of the palm trees takes me far away
As I see the children laugh while they play
Tripping over the scattered toys or falling in the sand

But a day like this, I know what it’s worth
A day in paradise is a wonderful gift
I have seen things others could only wish
The never ending light shines down on the shore
