An Evening Sky

Pinks, reds, and oranges
melt into the treetops.

Leaves shake in the trees,
float down, and land
on the springy grass.

A brilliant orange moon
is painted on the canvas,
and stars dazzle my eyes.

Moths dance to the orchestra
of the chirping crickets.

Every evening God paints
a beautiful picture of the sky.

How many people stop to look?
