Words float on an invisible stream
Verbal anunciations reverberating like a dream
I concentrate on the tip of my pencil
Its stroke similar to that of a fine tuned stencil
Finishing my work, I release my breath
My stiff, cold fingers worked nearly to death
I grin down at my product barely suppressed glee
"I'm finally done, my night is free"!
Then my eyes slide to the corner of the screen,
The newly added assignment enough to make me scream
