When the Sky Gets Bluer

The sky doesn’t always stay one shade of blue
Science can tell us that
But sometimes the sky depends on your mood
Where your heart is at
A smile from a stranger down the street
And the sky is cotton candy blue
Even so much as a small defeat
And the sky is dark as chocolate fondue
Whenever life pushes us around
For better or for worse
The sky will be eternally bound
To all your frowns and all your smirks
