Open eyes,
Open hands,
Open mind,
Open heart,
And yet life refuses to yield,
Life instead allows rejection to run rampant,
Breaking and walling the open heart,
In bricks of ice that shan't ever be thawed,
Closed the beautifullly open mind,
Scaring the hands reaching for love,
Closing the eyes forever more,
Kisses of death upon the eyelids,
Beauty lost,
And then this cycle repeats,
Upon another poor beautiful soul,
Such is life.
