Failed Game
Sunshine is the laughter
That echoes without aim
Tickling the flowers
Dancing in the rain
But it takes two to tango
To play this twisted game
Man is but a product
Of spit, grit, and desire
Falling below the earth
Always trying to climb higher
To rise above the rest
Or be consumed by fire
Storms are cries of nature
Screaming to stop the pain
Humankind is failing
And yet it is a shame
That even the brightest painting
Can be washed away by rain
