If this was a world of perfection there would be no pain.

No pain to hurt and puncture our tender hearts
and cause them to bleed.

There would be no suffering,
No suffering of the less fortunate than you and I,
There would be no one who is less fortunate than you and I.

If this was a perfect world everyone would be happy,
Everyone would be the same in talent and mind.

And in that world no one would be unique,
The entire world would be dull, bland, and bleak!

All color, creativity, and originality would be drained from the world we hold so dear!

Even though this world is full of hate, death, and war,
This world could be perfect,
Because this world still breathes originality and color.
This world is still alive and breathing,
And if everyone would just stop thinking this world is dead and dying,
And just help to mend the wounds and scars of this world,
Maybe just then we can start calling this flawed planet,
A Perfect World.
