Always stayed up a bit too late,
Always was a bit too awake.?

Always overheard conversations that weren’t meant for me,

Always saw some things I didn’t want to see.?

I know more than you would believe,
I’ve experienced more than you could conceive,
And unfortunately I care more than you would perceive. ?

I suffer with you though you feel just as lonely
I suffer for you though you may not even know me
I suffer before you though you will find out shortly. ?

The pain of knowing is fueled by the pain of not sharing,
I’ll bear the pain because I know you’d do too much hurting. ?

Always perplexed with the mind of man kind,
Always stumped with the simple question , “why?”
