Gloom
When darkness comes to fall
She goes out to the forest wall
Where she can be free without the watchful eyes
And the haunting smiles of their lies
They whisper in the darkness
And taunt her in the light
Screaming in her head
While she wishes she was dead
Until it all stops
Like the ticking on a broken clock
And while she cherishes being free
There’s a blinding light so she cannot see
The darkness up ahead
Is coming with an eerie dread
And once it has her in its claws
It's over once and for all
