Falling

I fell to my knees
I cried
You kicked me around till my lungs were bruised
My legs were unstable
I prayed to be saved from the pain
Nothing changed
Each day seemed to be a repeat of the last
I felt like I was running in circles
Reliving the past
I tryed my hardest to feel something
Nothing worked
I felt ice cold
I felt like I hit rock bottom
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes
A sense of freedom overpowered me
I am no longer inept
