Rebirth

Rebirth is alluring.
She is hypnotic in the way she tempts you with a life without him.
Rebirth will welcome you graciously,
Showering you in her gifts of promise and euphoria.
She will fulfill all of your desires,
But Rebirth is deceitful.
She will forget to rid your mind of the sensation he made you feel.
She will neglect the emptiness you feel while she embraces you.
Rebirth is agonizing as she sterilizes you,
But comforting when she tends to your scars.
Rebirth is not refined,
But neither is any woman we hope to become.

I wrote this piece to help fellow girls overcome a difficult relationship. Sometimes we feel empty after a breakup and I wrote this to hopefully fill that void and to show that no girl is alone.
