Memory through the eyes of a child
Hard rain pouring down fast with no pause button
It feels like ice against my skin.
The large puddle in the my back yard
Feels like the ocean to my young child mind.
Rain boots on my small feet and a
Rain jacket far too large for my small frail body that
Hangs off my shoulders. I jump in the giant puddle over and over
As the clothes cling to my skin giving
Little warmth.
My long curly
Hair bounces up and down as
I jump into the pool of imagination with
The eyes of a child.
