Favorite Quote:
"Do not judge my story by the chapter you walked in on"

The damp lightless room breathes over his eyes
The disbelief of him growing stronger strays in the back of his brainwashed mind
The lifeless pillow and hard mattress becomes home to his stagnant body
The warmth of fresh warmed bath water cascades down his stiff muscles breaking pain down
The three meals he has received break down in his stomach making him stronger each taste

Thought Police watched him like the hawk over her babies
Replacing their steps to ensure no notice
Brainwashing became easy as they played the melodies in his head
Throwing pictures of Julia and his relationship at his face brings negative thoughts in his brain
As he writes in his diary,
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
           TWO AND TWO MAKE FIVE
GOD IS POWER

Passion rattles over his vocal cords as they vibrate the words scream out,
Julia! Julia! Julia, my love! Julia
His mind prints the perfect representation of her essence
Soon the door swings open torture just down the hall he knows the end is near
As he bottles up his feelings of hate he knows he will die with a victory in his brain the hate of,
BIG BROTHER

I just got done reading 1984 by George Orwell and it really inspired me to write this poem about how "Big Brother" ifluenced the outer party's lives
