Beauty That Turned To Death
Birds began to sing,
Oh how good they sang,
His heart filled with joy,
Happiness began to spread all throughout the world,
But how sad it was when the storm had come,
The storm took all the happiness away,
Everything turned to dark and cold,
There was no more light to guide him home,
So he waited and waited and waited,
All that waiting made him tired,
He began to close his eyes,
Maybe when he woke there’d be light,
When he woke there’d been no light,
For he was dead,
And all that beauty turned to death.
