Are you okay?
I’m fine. As my tears cascade down my face like a skier on a massive mountain.
Are you okay?
I’m fine.  As I turn the lights off and hide myself away like a bear in hibernation.
Are you okay?
I’m fine.  As I skip school and attempt to sleep off the fatal thoughts taking over my brain.
Are you okay?
I’m fine.  As I imagine collapsing into my mother’s arms and hearing her soft lullaby.
Are you okay?
I’m fine.  As I slip on her old black dress and saunter to the gray tombstone.
Are you okay?
I’m not fine.  The person who raised me and loved me most has left and I am not okay.
