Fix your makeup, Fix your hair
Make sure your shoes are the same pair
Sit up straight; don’t slouch
Smile and cross your legs
Is this what they want me to be?
Prim and proper is the key
Place the napkin above your lap
Don’t go for seconds, it’s considered fat
Is this what they want me to be?
Primping is not my cup of tea
Slouching is what I do best
Eating is my hobby
That’s because I am me
And me is who I want to be

Society's standards of what beauty is or how women and grils should act has really srtuck a chord in me. Lots of women and girls everday deal with people telling them thier body is not enough or that they should act a certain way. I feel as though everyone should be who they are and not change who they are for anyone's standards.
