Oh, Summer.
I finally get to spend you with the loml
Waking up before sunrise and driving to venice
To sit down in the back of my truck and watch the sun come up
To spend the whole day at the beach
To watch the sunset
And to watch the sun disappear and watch the moon and the stars
To going on long walks to places we’ve never been
To swimming at night under the stars
To sneaking into another movie without paying for it
To sitting in the back of a cop car
To having water balloon fights at the beach
To bad tan lines and rainbow sandals
To the smell of sunblock and tanning oil
To the expensive bikinis and short shorts
To quick runs to jamba juice
To rebelution concerts and smoking trees
To making love under the beautiful stars
To having deep conversations
To staying up all night until the sunrise and then going to the beach
And only then to stay up all night again
Driving in our volkswagon bus and driving at sunset with the windows down and the wind blowing through our hair.
To making s'mores and drinking hot chocolate
Oh, Summer you couldn’t come fast enough.
