I Hate You
On those sleepless nights
When the darkness took over my thoughts
I felt the whirlwind of emotions in the pit of my stomach
They shut me down
And took over my body
I relied on you for comfort and for peace
But all you did was let me down
I gave you my heart
And all you did was step on it
And you were supposed to be the one to pick up the pieces
It’s funny how your kind always disappoints me
