once upon a life
i would stay up all day
and play, play, play
hiding in gardens
with flowers galore
but now i dont see that anymore
once upon a life
i reach towards the heavens
and cry out
i shout and yell
then everything goes right
once upon a life
i was energetic, selfless, and pure
but now im not
throwing my innocence out the door
once upon a life
i stay asleep
dreaming the days away
dreaming dreams way too deep
