dreary streets
with grey days
nit doing anything but stare in a haze
dreaming of laughter
and warmth in the air
with colorful leaves and the bright sunny days
laughing, dancing, and getting praise
oh i wish it were me
living in that silly dream
i want so much more
but sadly it fades
i will visit again soon
i will remember it always
the way it made me feel
and how much i wish to stay
i say goodbye to all
i bid them good
for i won't be back for a while
...or maybe i would
