I Was Small
Hues of orange and pink glistened before my eyes
I felt small
Tantalizingly gorgeous sunset put on a show from the sky
I felt small
People on the deck of the boat crowd around to watch the beauty
I felt small
The sunset is a goddess alluring people out of their daily lives to marvel at the vast sky
I was small
Compared to the universe and everything in it
I was small
The sunset distracted me from my stressing and planning for the future
My problems were small but the world was mighty
The future was far away
But the present was current and significant
I was small
But the brilliance of the sunset was enormous
