Quiet waves, gentle and soothing
warm air, blowing and rustling.
Am I dreaming?
Toes, barely getting wet; stepping on the hard sand
eyes, blinking slowly; taking in the scenery while observing the water.
Am I dreaming?
A sun that never fails to warm my body,
A sky that never fails to take my breath away.
Am I dreaming
Or is this the end?
Is this the beautiful goodbye I’ve been told about?
Am I dreaming
or our my eyes really shutting?
