Working,
striving,
but is it enough?
Will I succeed?
Will they realize all that I have become,
or will my hard work be washed away?
Will I succeed?
They tell me I’ve grown into a wonderful woman,
but are those simply empty compliments?
Will I succeed?
They say they are proud,
they say I can reach my goals,
but will I succeed?
