A title I hold,
I carry,
I endure.

To be bold,
To be strong,
To be fearless.

I will not fold.
I dare not give in.
I have to stand tall.

My hands go cold.
My heart starts to slow.
The dark creeps close.

Then I gleam gold.
Fire consumes,
Eyes turn to light.

The dark falls old.
It shrivels in my blaze,
It hisses at my haze.

I scream with anger long rolled.
A bright flash,
A long bash.

The monsters I fight
Will take me in the end.
But not till I've taken them.

@Tohoak Nice work! Really like the topic you are talking about and it kinda gave a sad, but inspiring tone to it. Keep up the good work!
