What do you see when you look at me
In this confusing world I sigh
As time and all creation pass me by
All they want to know is who am I?
Am I what everyone sees on the outside?
Or am I really myself somewhere deep inside?
So who am I now, for all creation to see?
So tell me, what do you see when you look at me?
Do you see the scared little girl, who sits all alone?
Or do you see a powerful young lady who sits on her throne.
Can you hear the fear in my voice from time to time?
Or am I able to cover it with a sweet little smile?
But you can't see that, as it is all locked away,
Hidden from your judgement each and everyday.
So for who am I now, for all creation to see?
And tell me, what do you really see when you look at me?

This poem is about a girl who is trying to find herself in this confusing world. Thoroughout this she is trying to free herself from all types of judgement, also all the false images society puts on her.
