"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go."

breathe it in and let it out

as this smoke exhales from my mouth

gray twists and turns in the air

as my problems slip away

and life finally seems fair

fear fades as smoke does

and only peace stays when I feel this buzz

I watch the world disappear in a fog

picking my poison from a catalogue

let me slip out of consciousness

as I sit in this unconscious mist

head in the clouds as I see

all the things that life could be

but all that fades

as my brain slowly degrades and decays

in this gray haze

back to reality

as I sit underneath this tree

stuck wondering what I could be

if I were anyone but me
