they are weightless
flying free
without care
they leave me
so easy
and flee my mind
even faster
your words
they are stones
striking hard
where i’m weak
they weigh me
so low
and press my shoulders
to the ground
these words
they are catalysts
of good and
bad alike
they heal hearts
so well
and break them
even better
