This is a poem that seeps
through the cracks in the earth
because the ground lays fragile,
and Mother Nature is too tired to work
but life continues to breathe.
And when their breathing stops,
everything stands still.
This is the poem that yearns
for the attention it needs,
before we realize it’s too late.
