Our last visit
Today you came for the last time.
I said see you later, but you said goodbye.
You said to stay strong, and I said i'll try.
You drove away, and I started to cry.
When people asked I said I was fine
didn't want them to know, so I just lied.
I was feeling so empty, so hollow inside
My tear streaked face, I tried to hide
It was hard to grasp that you were now gone.
They brought me back. They said to have fun.
Chasing your car I just wanted to run.
I couldn't move. Weight on my chest, a ton.
As I watch you leave my hands making fists
Holding in emotions as I reminisce
Our times together I began to miss
I’m only but a child. I can't handle this.
Today when you came for the last time.
I said see you later, and you said goodbye.
You said to stay strong. Oh, did I try.
You drove away, I couldn't help but cry
