The contradiction of the cranberry colored stars
The stars wished for a change in color
But being forever the same.
They wished to be blue
But I guess they already were
If blue is the color of peace,
Because stars are pretty darn peaceful
They wished to be green,
The color of envy
Which i guess the stars are,
Envious of the trees
And the flowers
Full of life and color
They wished to be red,
The color of bloodlust
The only color they weren’t
I am like the stars
I want to be anything but what I am
And in my biography
Under places I wanted to go
It will read
Anywhere but where I was
