Alseep, but with my eyes open

Awake, but with my eyes closed 

Restlessness, tossing and turning 

Sleeplessness, days and hours of no sleep

The only light in my room , the numbers

They sit there staring at me, taunting me 

They blink of the color green; 3:16 AM

They beg me to look 

Pills, pillows,blankets

my mind is blank 

Then BAM, the clock screaming again; 5:10 AM

No sleep, but timme sure does fly 

Insomnia

I see a fllicker, then i hear a obnoxious ring

No not a dream never a dream

My clock once again; 6 AM

Restlessness, sleeplessness, dreamlessness
