Alone
Goes down in your bones
No one’s calling your phone
Oh so empty inside
Just makes you want to hide
You’re the low man on the totem pole
Getting an actual friend is your goal
Everyone is so fake
I just wish I could make
You be real
To help me feel
Accepted
I wish some people were real
And not like a chameleon
Who changes everywhere they go just to blend in
What happens to the chameleons who can’t blend in?
Who stands out and can’t be like the others
They are left alone, thought of as an outsider
They are left alone so they cannot be a chameleon, so they can’t fit in
