Flying.
Flying away from here
To escape hatred.
To a faraway land
Away from Auschwitz.
Away from The Nazis
Away from Hitler
Away from the corrupted minds, as twisted as a rope.
To the light
To America
Only to be turned away.
Back to death
Back to the ghetto
Back to the work camps
Back to the harsh cruelty that surrounds Europe.
