Flying.
Flying away from here
To escape hatred.
To a faraway land
Away from Auschwitz.
Away from The Nazis
Away from Hitler
Away from the corrupted minds, as twisted as a rope.
To the light
To America
Only to be turned away.
Back to death
Back to the ghetto
Back to the work camps
Back to the harsh cruelty that surrounds Europe.

In english class we were told to make a poem on the Holocaust for a project, so I did.
