The Magic Number
“Mitchel, time for breakfast!”
My fuel levels low, I run on fumes as I drag my body to the kitchen.
I fill up my tank: two eggs, potatoes, four pieces of bacon. Extra crispy.
700
With fuel in my tank I am off to the gym I burn an estimate of 250, which I replace with a granola bar and protien shake.
“Mitchel, time for lunch!”
I make a pit stop at the table to scarf down a quick meal as I run out the door to go hang with friends.
I fuel up once again: a BLT, crunchy chips and creamy soup soup
700
A game of ultimate frisbee frees up another 100, which I replace with a vanilla cone. A Big Mac adds another 550.
“Mitchel, time for dinner!”
My final meal, I must consume enough fuel to keep me alive for the night.
2 plates of spaghetti, meatballs, and garlic bread dripping with butter.
900
Goal: 2900, I am at 2850 but a few Girl Scout cookies puts me over… Will have to limit myself tomorrow.
