The Food-driven Ocean

Food celebrations unite the world around,
for both creatures above and below ground.

Food drives humans as far as the eye can see,
and also the fish in the deep blue sea.

The plankton floats aimlessly fighting to survive,
but the shrimp feeds on them, trying to thrive.

The salmon must also eat,
so he devours the shrimp in a heartbeat.

The starving tuna awaits his next meal.
When the salmon arrives, he will not miss his chance to steal.

The shark tracks down his prey,
and he feasts on his tuna buffet.

The king of the ocean glides through,
while something more massive lurks in deeper blue.
