Odly enough the sun is shining
And kids are outside playing,
The lawn chair are waiting to be unfolded
And the pool uncovered,
The ponds are slowly melting
And the wildlife is confused
For the moment this is nice
And from the amount of runners and dogs
that have strolled down my street I know
i’m not the only one enjoying this
The grass is still dull and trying to soak in the sun
The trees are bare and muddled
This is a summer tease.
